First-Time Buyers: Hurry for $8,000 Tax Credit

If you're a first time home buyer and you're thinking of using the government's tax credit, you better hurry. In order to qualify for the $8000 gov't credit you must close on the house by Dec. 1.
Buyers should have a purchase contract signed by early October, so that they have 45 -60 days to arrange financing and safely close the deal.
